WHAT IS PROJECT ARCA?Proyecto Arca is NOT a school incorporated into the SEP.
It is a scheme incorporated into the United States educational system.
We run our own program and are affiliated with an international institution in the United States, so our children receive double validation: in the United States (if we want them to continue their studies in that country) and in Mexico through a simple equivalence procedure .INDEPENDENT ALTERNATIVE EDUCATIONAL MODEL The Arca Project is an alternative education model.
It is a learning community that we create for our own children.WHO CAN ENTER PROJECT ARCA?Although Arca is NOT a school open to the public, each year we receive a small number of children whose families share our vision and want a better education and an environment where their children are happy when learning.OUR EMPHASISAlong with top-level academic training, we prioritize the development of the childs being and character.
It is because of that:We do not tolerate harassmentEach student learns at their own paceWe have no honor rolls, grades, or written exams.
All of this stigmatizes and negatively classifies students.
Evaluations of academic performance are carried out through multiple, more objective means, based on the practical mastery of learning.We do not compete; we collaborateWe practice the Golden Rule: Do unto others what we want others to do unto us.We are Family.
Our environment is not prison-like, but friendly and inviting to learning.
Our physical space is open and full of communication and movement.Our groups are very small (7 to 12 students, maximum)Our students from preschool through high school DO NOT own a cell phone.
This has enhanced their talents, desirable habits and socialization in a real world instead of a virtual world.We make use of technology for useful purposes.At Proyecto Arca we are happy when learning, happy when choosing a profession and happy when forming a new family.
